It offers an easy learning curve and access to a vast array of libraries. With implementations available for all common operating systems as well as the Java and .NET platforms, Python can be used on virtually any system in existence. Python’s power and versatility have made it one of the world’s most popular programming languages. Like other open-source, dynamic languages, it offers rapid productivity and a vigorous developer community; at the same time, Python’s clarity and reliability give confidence to enterprise users. About Python Ireland Python Ireland is a user group who meets up on the second Wednesday of each month for events such as talks, unconferences and informal social gatherings.

The IIA welcomes our newest member Living English. Living English are a language school based in South Dublin who specialize in Work and Travel and Work & Study Programmes for young, adventurous Europeans who would like to come to Ireland with the clear objective of improving their spoken English. While more advanced students can expect to get into the nitty gritty of the lingo they can also expect more novel approaches to language learning through the use of Beatle songs for example. Ther site also includes resources such as language exercises and sample interviews. Now if only I could find something similar to rekindle my French prior to next week’s holidays I would be doing well! They also run EU Placement, a recruitment service which encourages professionals from all over Europe to come and live and work in Ireland.
