TV3 today announced a major commercial deal with Vodafone for a four-week sponsorship of ‘Christmas on TV3’ from November 24th to December 24th 2008. The multimedia deal also includes a high impact television airtime campaign, advertising and sponsorship on TV3’s award-winning website www.tv3.ie and a major viewer promotion across both channels.
From Monday November 24th up to Christmas week, Vodafone will sponsor all TV3 shows that do not currently carry a sponsor, giving them a significant presence on the channel throughout this period. In addition, Vodafone will sponsor a Christmas web page on TV3.ie.
To celebrate the launch of the sponsorship, Vodafone is giving away a €10,000 shopping spree on Grafton Street which will be filmed and broadcast on TV3’s Ireland AM breakfast show.
