-Introduction of social media tools, new category listings and design features to benefit users –
DoneDeal.ie, Ireland’s most successful and fastest growing online classified adverts website, has completed a significant number of enhancements to its’ popular website, incorporating new classified sections, new content, new features and the active use of social media tools such as blogging, facebook and twitter.
A key part of the site enhancement is the design and introduction of a significantly wider range of new classified advertising sections, which form part of a continued and sustained effort by the company to make buying and selling online, easier and more enjoyable for everyone.
There are now 119 sections on DoneDeal.ie, an increase of 88 from the original 31 sections on the site. Among the new classified sections now introduced are dedicated categories covering Farming, Fashion & Health, Weddings and a Lost & Found section. Within each section, DoneDeal has also introduced further sub-sections to ensure users can source exactly what they are looking for in a more timely fashion.
The website has also been updated so that up to 10 photos can now be placed in each ad. Originally only 3 photos could be placed per ad. The 10 photos are all included in the existing standard €3 fee at no extra cost.
DoneDeal.ie has experienced significant growth this year, averaging website traffic growth of approx. 10-15 per cent each month. The site today claims over 2.8million visits per month, according to independent website metrics company Ireland Metrix. The new website features are a direct response to this growth, making it easier to navigate the 54,000 active ads on the website.
