Longford County Enterprise Board has since its establishment in 1993 supported the creation, expansion and development of hundreds of micro-enterprises. It is recognised as the primary reference point in County Longford for business advice, information and support.
It’s mission is to promote and stimulate economic activity, creating quality employment, increasing the number and the survival rate of micro-enterprise in County Longford.
This is achieved through the administration of a range of financial and soft supports designed to support business creation and to improve productivities and efficiencies among existing enterprises. Financial supports include provision of employment, capital refundable and feasibility assistance to eligible enterprises establishing or undergoing expansion who are manufacturing, adding value to a product or providing a service to the business community. Soft supports includes a range of tailor designed management development or training programmes, one-to-one mentoring and business advice.
